In Galicia, due to a somewhat inflexible production structure, pollution generated by the agri-food industry has a direct impact on decreased productivity. Therefore, it is necessary to implement changes that both reclaim and minimize its generation.

The goal of the group is to identify cooperative projects that provide advantageous solutions to the specific problems of companies in the area of recycling and waste reclamation.

Using a well-defined methodology will allow detailed specification of the needs of the participating companies. To do so, it is essential to know specific characteristics of the companies such as:
  • Nature and volume of material to process.
  • Scope of treatment.
  • Final product to obtain.
  • Potential market of these products.

Simultaneously, the research groups will be analyzed according to the characteristics of their scientific production evaluating the conceptual approaches, equipment, materials, and transference capacity.

Ptgal will push for and provide appropriate facilities for specific meetings of representatives of companies and research groups to be able to implement final projects.
