The "Plataforma Tecnolóxica Galega Agroalimentaria" (Galician Agri-Food Technology Platform) or Ptgal, is the catalyst for existing interactions among the different primary production and industrial segments, technology centers, etc. Its main goal is to take advantage of the synergies among these different sectors.

The Ptgal initiative is open to inclusion of all agents involved and committed to sector development and representing a broad range of entities and companies, from extraction and primary production sector to small and large food and distribution industries, as well as the scientific community and the Administration.

Its daily activities focus on directing the research of the Workgroups that are already members, in addition to encouraging the creation of new groups to give the initiatives launched from the Platform an increasing impact in the agri-food sector.
